Context: Christian Mission Mobilization
Mission Match is a grassroots, bottom up effort to increase missions giving through historically Christian congregations in the United States. An effort to encourage a top down effort to increase missions giving, through historically Christian congregations in the United States, is considered in Five Mobilization Questions. The Antioch Presbyterian Church in Chonju, South Korea, has set a gold standard for missions giving. At its founding in 1985, the congregation committed to giving at least 60 cents of every dollar to international missions. As of 2003, with about 4,000 members, the figure was 70 cents.
The following Web sites present at-scale, Christian mission mobilization efforts.
Rick Warren's Saddleback Church P.E.A.C.E. Plan has the stated goal of addressing "global giants."
Gospel for Asia has the goal of increasing Gospel for Asia's number of native missionaries to 100,000.
